Activities at Cecilian Village

We offer a variety of activities such as Bingo, Coloring for Adults, Wii, Exercise classes, Pool table games, Darts and Corn hole. We have entertainers come to provide music, we have Karaoke which is a big hit and we even had a Luau. We have an annual picnic with all the residents, we have Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Birthday Celebrations.

We provide educational speakers that pertain to this age group that will help the residents as they age in place. We have entertainers come to provide music and other kinds of entertainment to help keep them active in mind and body. We have fun in all we do and always looking for new things to keep the interest of the residents. An activities director wears many hats, besides planning interesting activities for the residents one of our main purposes is to be a listener, and try to help the residents with problems they may have, whether it be a personal issue, health issue, or small things like needing help with their TV or telephone. We strive to live the motto of the Sisters of Saint Joseph in all we do.

As an administrative assistant, I work with the Occupancy Manager and assist with keeping all records current and up to date. I answer phone calls, help prospective tenants with questions, my door is always open to assist where I can.
